Felony Assault Bill is now LAW for Sanitation Enforcement Agents

Today August 16, 2010 Governor Patterson signed into law A.9186 and S.6079 the Felony Assault Bill making it a felony punishable for up to 7 years for assaulting a Uniform New York City Sanitation Enforcement Agent.

On behalf of President James Huntley and the Executive Board we ask that you contact your local state representatives and thank them for their support of the important legislation.
