I just wanted to send you a reminder of services provided through the WTC Medical Monitoring and Treatment Program (WTC MMTP) for  your members who participated in the rescue, recovery and clean-up or volunteer at the WTC site or the surrounding area after the 9/11 attacks.
 
FREE Medical Treatment and Medication

The WTC Medical Monitoring and Treatment Program provides FREE treatment that includes doctor’s visits, medical tests and medications for 9/11-related illnesses among WTC responders. There are also social workers and benefits counselors available to assist patients with any questions or problems they may have.
 
There are no co-payments or deductibles for treatment of illnesses or conditions like asthma, rhinosinusitis, acid reflux, etc. related to their WTC service.

To be eligible for this free treatment or medication, your members must be enrolled in our program. We have clinics located in Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, Long Island and New Jersey.

		<description>The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) encourages all responders to protect their right to file for future Workers’ Compensation benefits by registering form WTC-12 with the WCB.

The WCB requires this registration in order for responders to be permitted to file for Workers’ Compensation benefits in the future, regardless of 
whether or not you have already filed a Workers’ Compensation claim or are currently sick or well.
